This has been a long busy year for me.
Became a canine mama of two cattle dogs
and made a major move to Memphis.
During this time, I completed my next
book with Avon. This Perfect Kiss is a July
2011 release and features two new
characters, a disgraced British Naval Captain
and a young American rebel, divided by
country and loyalties and a brief past that
now brings them together ten years later in
Scotland.
Hint: If you read Wicked Lies, my 2002 Laura
Renken book, you might recognize one of the
characters. This Perfect Kiss takes place
after the American revolution in the Georgian
time period when my heroine returns to her
place of birth in Scotland to fulfill a promise
she made to her cousin, only to find that the
past is never so easily forgotten.
Great news! This Perfect Kiss has been
picked up by Walmart for a special larger
book format print run in addition to
regular mass market. I'm also really
excited that Rhapsody/Doubleday
Bookclub has also picked up the book
this year as well for their summer
releases. RT gave the book a great
review!!!
