Award Winning Historical
Romance at its Best

Melody,

I think your editor is very smart.  I just finished "Wild and Wicked in Scotland."  Very impressive!  I'll have to read your other books to
make a comparison, but I really, really enjoyed Cassie and Devlyn's story.  The writing was impressive and I appreciated the higher level
vocabulary that you used.  It wasn't the normal run of the mill .  My compliments and thanks for a wonderful story!  It'll have me picking
another of your books up to read.  I read this one in a little over a day.  It was hard to put down!

I'm looking forward to reading your other books.  I noticed several pictures on your website of Cathy Maxwell.  She's another of my
favorites.  Keep up the writing and "Dahling, you look mah-velous!"

take care,

dawn

Thank you Dawn. I've lost over a hundred pounds now. And thanks for reading the featured  article in OH magazine. They did a great
job. I've never been on the front cover of a magazine before. LOL

                             ************************************************

I just  finished reading Wild and Wicked in Scotland and wanted you to know how much I enjoyed it.  I really loved, I mean loved Devlyn,
he was a wonderful character, and I loved Cassie too. They were the perfect couple - I loved the story and the other characters.  I can't
wait for the next book in this series. Devlyn should get the award for hottest hero! best wishes, Irene

Thank you, Irene.

Hi Melody

I live in Perth Western Australia.  I have just finished “Wild and Wicked in Scotland” and loved it I finished the story in a day. So now I am
trying to be patient and wait for the next book in October. I loved the four books “In My Heart”,” Angel in My Bed” “Must Have Been the
Moonlight” and “Match Made In Scandal”

I have also managed to buy 3 of your other earlier books under the name Laura Renken “Night Shadow”, “My Lord Pirate” and “Wicked
Lies”.

I enjoy reading your books so much that I have kept them to re read again at a later date I have also placed future book orders with the
Romance Book shop that I go to in Perth so that I don’t miss any of your up and coming books.

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your latest book and to thank you for the many hours of happy reading that you have
given me.

Regards

Bette

Thank you so much for writing!!!

Melody, I thank you.
I started with Wild & Wicked in Scotland, loved it. Got on the web and purchased your Donally family series, and love how they
all intertwine. I went to your website and now I have searched and found your books as Laura Renken and Lori Morgan. They will take
some weeks to get to Australia, but I'm sure they will be well worth it. My favorite author, before I discovered  your books, was Johanna
Lindsey. Between my sister and I, we have everything she has written. I started reading her novels in 1982, when I started high school. I
have three little boys of my own which has put the reading on hold for the last six and a half years. Your books have got me reading
again, for this I thank you. Each book is like a fantastic, intriguing movie that continues on into the next story and takes me to another
time. I love your writing. Can't wait for October '07 to read about Bethany. Thank you so much, don't stop writing the way you do. I am
sure that millions of others think the same.

Laurel

                               ***************************************

I just wanted to congratulate and praise you on this book.  It was
wonderful.  I've read it about 10 times or more.  I love how passionate the
characters are and so true to their selves and each other.  No silly
misunderstandings and shying away from feelings that other romance books
portray.  You are a gifted writer.  I love the heroes and their compassion.
The storyline was wonderful, creative, and intriguing.  I love the passion
that's portrayed.  I cannot wait for the next book in line of this series.
thanks for your time!
Viv

Thank you, Viv!!!

Hello, I'm from Italy, I wrote you last December after reading your first book translated in italian (Must Have Been the Moonlight - Luna
del deserto). In my heart has been translated too, and I've just bought A Match Made in Scandal and Angel in My Bed in English. Can
you tell me if the italian MONDADORI has bought these two books to sell them in Italy??? It would be great! But I couldn't wait to
read them in Italian to know more of the Donnalys, so I decided to
read them in English, hoping it won't be long before we can find them
on shelves!

In your site you have put the Italian cover of Must have been the
moonlight; I think you took it from the italian/english blog "Isn't
it romantic". It would be very nice if you could contact the girls
who have create it and talk with the Italian romance readers.

Do you know where I can find you old historicals published as Lori
Morgan/Laura Renken? Due to postal cost, it's very expensive to buy
them from USebay, and they are very hard to find in Europe.

Cheers
M from Italy

Hi M:

Thank you for writing. I'm glad you are enjoying the Donally family series. I have no idea if  Mondador is going to purchase A
Match Made in Scandal and Angel in My Bed. I wish they would. :-) Maybe it depends on how well the first two books do, I'm not
sure how it works with foreign publishers. I would love to see the entire series available to you in translation. I just don't know
how to make that happen or let them know I have readers in Italy who are interested. I'll forward this letter to my editor.

I will be appearing on the
Isn't it Romantic site the week of July 23rd. That site is really nice. They've done a great job of
gathering book info on a lot of authors.

As for buying my backlist, I have no easy answers. I made the mistake years ago of giving many of those books away at a
conference not realizing how hard it would ever be to find them again. I'm going to have to hit the used bookstores around
here and see if I can find any and just buy them all. People are always asking how to get them. Right now I don't have any of
those Laura Renken or Lori Morgan books. But I will email you if I ever do get them.

Thank you again for writing. If I learn anything new, I will definitely give you an update.

Hi Melody (from South Africa)

I have always been a sucker for romance, and love a tear rendering story. I came across “A Match made in Scandal” by accident at a
book shop in South Africa, I could not put the book down, after completing it I immediately contacted the book store to ask them to order
your other 3 novels on the Donally's. All 4 books including Wild and Wicked in Scotland as earned a place of honor on my keeper’s
book shelf.

Your series on the Donally’s was awesome. My favorite being “A Match Made in Scandal”, with “Must have been the Moonlight” being
second best; however when I read “Wild and Wicked in Scotland”. I could not make up my mind, of which was best. Therefore I opt to
say your stories are great, and thoroughly enjoyed. I am so looking forward to your new novel “Sin and Scandal in England”

Best Regards,
Rhoda

                               ***********************************

Hi Melody:

I read "Wild and Wicked in Scotland" and see you have another book "Sin and Scandal in England".  Are they both part of your
'Charmed and Dangerous' series and are there anymore books and will there be more in this series?

Thank you,

Betsy L.

Is there a certain order that your books should be read in.  I just bought "Wild and Wicked in Scotland" and it will be the first book I have
read that you have written.  After reading some of the questions and answers on your website I am a little confused about the order of
the books.

Thank you,

Jeannie

Jeannie and Betsy:

None of the books have to be read in order but here is the sequence of books.

Wild and Wicked in Scotland
Sin and Scandal in England
Pride and Passion in London
Title to be announced.

                   ***************************************************************

Melody:

While I shopping this morning   I got a copy of your latest book, Wild and Wicked in Scotland and found out upon going to your web site
that it is a first book in a series of books. So how many will there be and what are the other titles of  the books and when will they be out?

C

Thank you for buying Wild and Wicked. I'm glad to see it still out on the shelves. The second book in the series, Sin and
Scandal in England, is due out in October. Pride and Passion in London will be out September 2008.

What of your other books go into sets and or series     thanks

I
n My Heart
Must Have Been the Moonlight
A Match Made in Scandal
Angel in My Bed
This is the Donally family series.

Angel in My Bed (crossover book)
Wild & Wicked in Scotland
Sin&Scandal in England (Oct 2007)
This is the Mission Impossible, Charmed&Dangerous series

oh ya before I run   I am 69 yrs old and am in a group of older readers we try to ask authors to put a place on the web site for set/series
books  as we wait till all the books are out before we read any of them   though most can stand alone    there are story lines, character
location or what ever that group them together and for us at our age we want to keep it all straight so it helps to read them all at one
time to keep it all straight thanks. ca

C:

I have now done this on my updated website.  Donally series

Happy Reading!!!

                                        ***********************************************

Ms. Thomas
I have read Angel in My Bed and Scandal not knowing they're part of the Donally series. Are they suppose to be read in sequence ?
Scandal was awesome. In in love with the Donallys Because I have not read the other Donally books I was wondering Why did Ryan
married Kathleen if he had feelings for Rachel?

Because Rachel had always been in love with his oldest brother from the time she had been a little girl and was supposed to have
married the hero from In My Heart. Alas that did not happen. By the time Ryan and Rachel realized they had feelings Ryan was already
marrying her best friend. So, she basically left England to get away from them.

This book seem so real as I read it. I want to find a Donally man..

Mari from Hawaii

PS what has inspired you to come up with the Donallys. You have composed the stories perfectly.
It just seem realistic.

Mari:

Thank you so much for taking the time to send an email. All of my Donally books stand alone, but yes there is a time sequence.

In My Heart (This book begins the series and features at one time or another all the Donallys, including Ryan and Rachel before
he marries Kathleen)
Must Have Been the Moonlight
A Match Made in Scandal
Angel in My Bed

In My Heart was the first book I had created with this family, which turned into the series because the brothers and sister were
so strong and alive. I wanted to them create a dynamic family that fought the mores of the time to excel through their own hard
work and dreams despite society. After all England wasn't built by the aristocracy alone. :-)

Hi Melody again,

I completed reading the Donally series and I've enjoyed them soooo much.
You must be busy with lots of emails and writing but I must ask.
Since my most favorite is Match Made in Scandal, I was craving to read more of Ryan and Rachel's future in Ireland at the ending of
their story. Mainly to find the gender of their new baby since Chris/Alex, Brianna, David's new borns were mentioned in the series.
Please tell me more about them; these two characters seem stuck with me.I can read the series over and over again; in order this time.

Looking forward to read Sin and Scandal in England

Thank you so much
Mari

Mari:

You ask some great questions, ones that I've been asked before. I've been asked to do a Donally family epilogue of sorts. In my
book Sin and Scandal in England, the heroine is Bethany from Angel in My Bed and she does make mention that her guardian,
David Donally (Lord Chadwick) is currently in Ireland visiting his family. LOL. I just don't go into detail in these books about past
books because sometimes people who haven't read them just get more confused. I try to make each book stand alone, but then
I get letters similar to yours. :-) So you'd like to know more about Ryand and Rachel.... Ryan and Rachel did move to Ireland
because they had the power and status to attempt to make a difference to their people and to employ them through their
engineering company. They had a little girl and later two sons. They lived all the way into the early twentieth century. I'd like to
think this fictional family's legacy would have laid the foundation that has made a better, stronger Ireland that it is today.

                           ***********************************************

Dear Melody:

I received Must Have Been the Moonlight and found it fascinating. It engaged my interest wholly. You have a way of returning to former
characters which endears them to me--it was a delight to revisit the tempestuous relationship between Christopher and Alexandra in, In
My Heart. However Brianna and Michael captured my heart. I was disappointed to end the book because I wanted several answers to
occur.
(Spoilers below)

1.) Caroline--Just to know that Brianna had a woman in her home who lusted after her husband what happened to Caroline? Did she
find someone to care for her and her two girls and get her away from Michael?

RC, this is one of those questions that I sometimes get as many people seemed concerned about Caroline's presence in Michael's life.
Because she was once married to his brother and her children were his family, Michael, Brianna and Caroline did end up becoming
friends. A lot of Caroline's initial issues had to do with her grief for her dead husband and the kife she had sold away to marry him in lieu
of Michael all those years ago. She did straighten up.

2.) Michael's mother--were she and Brianna finally able to live in the cottage? Did they become close.

Some things can never be fixed completely, but yes they eventually learned to work together. Brianna was, of course, never the type to
give up and her enthusiasm for life would eventually rub off on Michael's mother.

3.) Finally--For some reason, I have a warm spot in my heart for Lord Ware, Alexandra's father. Any chance he and the Donally
brothers will ever be a whole family? Possibly, I mean is there a chance the Donally brothers will ever accept him into their homes
without hatred?

I
nteresting that you asked about Lord Ware. He actually takes his place as a recurring character in my upcoming Charmed and
Dangerous series in which the first book, Wild and Wicked in Scotland debuts in Jan 2007. Lord Ware and the Donallys do
make peace and Lord Ware goes on to become a very important figure in English history. (according to the world as written by
Melody Thomas LOL)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just saw the cover Melody and love it. To be honest since the beginning of the Donnaly series, I always had this picture of the them in
my head... and who else but John DeSalvo? The man is the best in the business. So, you could imagine the huge smile on my face
when I instantly spotted him on the new cover. Can't wait until April.

I've loved the series since it started and since David's book means the end, I'll be sad to see them go. In My Heart was my favorite, as
I'm a sucker for reunion books. It made me cry so many times.

"Who are the honorable men who serve the League of the Condor, a secretive organization that exists on the fringes of society? Angel
in My Bed introduces one irresistible hero you will not want to miss."

Does this little blurb mean there will be a spin-off? I sure hope so.
C

Dear C:
Yes, it does. But the series has been changed to
Mission Impossible Charmed and Dangerous series. As pieces of David's past are
exposed we learn a lot about who he used to be and what exactly he did for the British government. Now I get to write about those
daring men in the same organization. How fun is that?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Melody:
I read about a book a day and have been a judge in Holt for many years, so I have many favorite authors and I have written a few to tell
them how much I enjoy their work, but this is a first for me. I have never told an author that her work would make a fantastic movie. I am
currently enjoying A Match Made in Scandal and since page one I felt as if I was watching a movie instead of reading a book. Some
people would say all books could make a good movie, but I disagree, most good books are just enjoyable reads that when you finish
you cant wait to read another by that author. Your work is too large for mere pages, its hard to put into words, but its like you become
swept up into the story all the characters are memorable and the storyline makes you not put the book down.

I have enjoyed you other books as well, but this is the best one yet. I wish you luck in all you do and look forward to more of your books.
You should see about getting this sent as a screen play to some network, maybe cable or Hallmark. Good luck. Thanks for the
wonderful stories.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Melody:

I have all your books that you have written under the name Melody Thomas and Laura Renken. I have enjoyed all of your wonderful
stories. I can't wait until your next book comes out. I already pre-ordered it through Amazon. I just finished reading "Wicked Lies". I was
wondering if you will write a book about Elizabeth and Lieutenant Ross? I hope so I would like to read their book.

Your Loyal Fan, B

Dear B:
Thank you for ordering Angel in My Bed. I believe if you liked Wicked Lies you'll really enjoy Angel with that secret identity
thing going. LOL. As for a story about Elizabeth and LT. Ross, no, I won't be doing a sequel. Not that I wouldn't love to. When I
wrote that book, I had planned a sequel, but the time period wasn't selling and then I ended up changing publishers. Wicked
Lies will always be one of my favorite books though.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Melody:
I wanted to know if you have any timeline on when David's story will be published. I have a feeling that it will be better then the other
three which will be a very hard task , I sensed that David had something dark in his past , you did a great job in making us want to know
what happened to him . I would like you to enter me in to your newsletter list . thank you. I just wanted to ask if you are thinking about
making a store on David Donnaly ?

Dear A:

Thank you so much for your lovely email. I sure am writing about David!!! Angel in My Bed will be out April 1st, 2006 in the
stores. If you go to my website at: WWW.MelodyThomas.com you can see a short blurb about the book as well as the cover. I
have to say of all my Donally men, David is my favorite. LOL. Angel will also launch my new series about the men who serve in
the League of the Condor. I just sold my next two proposal about those men to AVON. If you'd like updates and announcements,
either go to my website and subscribe to my Melody Thomas newsletter by clicking Join Yahoo Groups at the bottom of the
home page. Or I can sign you up myself. I send out about four newsletters a year with book and signing info.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Ms. Thomas,

I'm just sending this to let you know how much I thoroughly enjoyed 'A Match Made in Scandal'. I love the main characters, Ryan Donally
and Rachel Bailey. When I started reading it, the first time, I could not put it down. A month later, I read it again and enjoyed it once
more. Ryan and Rachel are such complex characters and what tension between them. Wow! I am looking forward to when your new
books come out. I shall certainly buy them.

Thank you and happy holidays,

MW

ps As I am Scottish by birth and Irish by descent,
I am looking forward to reading about David Donally

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Melody:
Thanks for getting back to me so soon and yes it's all very confusing but now I understand it better. I'm putting ANGEL IN MY BED as
the 4th book in the Donnelly series and then #1 in the League of the Condor series-Patricia Grasso does that with some of her books
where they interlap with other books in a different series-it's confusing if you don't know what's going on. Is ANGEL IN MY BED the end
of the Donnelly series? I haven't read any of the other books yet as I'm waiting for the series to be completed so that I can read all the
books one after the other-I'd just have to go back and reread them as each new book comes out so it's easier for me to wait until a
series, etc. is complete. Please let me know so that I can read it, then I'll reread ANGEL IN MY BED once the other books to that series
are complete. Oooh Wee!!! Thanks again for writing back so quickly.

Best,
J

Yes, Angel is the final book in the series and a segue into the next series.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Laura,
I just wanted you to know since bringing home A Match Made in Scandal, you have new fans. My mother made me order every book I
could get of yours. I believe there were two or three. I haven't read them yet, as bookclub books took precedence. I will though, but Mom
has and you have new fans. Thought I'd let you know Mom saw one of your books
at Sam's Club yesterday. She was excited as we had looked in several bookstores before ordering online. Only disappointment was that
it was one we already had.

Take care, C
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Melody:
I hate reading but since I would be flying to visit my son before he shipped out to Iraq, I needed something to keep my mind occupied
and thought a steamy novel would do it and DO IT IT DID. WOW! A Match Made in Scandal was, no words can describe. You really
cranked out a good one. I've had to go back and read some highlights to make sure I read it correctly the first time and it just sticks in
my mind almost all the time. Cannot wait for your new one next year. Scandal needs to be made into a movie ( not for television) and not
a part left out and use Evan Marriot from "Joe Millionaire" as Ryan and only if can speak authentic Irish.

Thanks so much for writing the way you do and will be purchasing a copy for a girlfriend who could really use the stimulation, if you only
knew our humor. Thanks again, H S

HS:

A movie? Don't I wish. :

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Melody, is the new League of the Condor series related to [the] Heart of the Condor book you wrote as Laura Renken? T

T: No, it is not.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Melody:
I just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed A Match Made in Scandal. I can always count on you to give me a rich and beautiful read.
Please keep writing at this level! I can't think of another historical romance author who I enjoy as much.
Sincerely, A

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just wanted to write you a quick note. I started IMH today and I'm only about half through it. This book is amazing and I'm bawling my
eyes out. I'm just past Christopher and Alex's first love scene. So far it is so tugging on my emotions. And I am so loving Christopher and
Alex. Will there be more books about the Donally's?
Tew

I've recently signed a four book contract with Avon and will be writing a Donally family series. The next book, Must Have Been the
Moonlight, is Brianna's story and will be released in December 2004. This book begins in the hot, torrid deserts of Egypt. Rachel and
Ryan's book will be out next in 2005, followed by David Donally…the man with a past.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Laura/Melody:
After reading Wicked Lies, I knew I wanted to read all the seduction romance books.I knew this was one book that would always be in my
library. I had no idea My Lord Pirate was only the beginning of "The Drakes" and I instantly fell in love. I had to have them all. I just
finished Heart of the Condor and my eyes actually filled with tears. These are some of the most sensual books I've read in awhile, and I
read ALOT! I could feel the mist on my face and the wind in my hair while the ship moved beneath my feet, it was mesmerizing. Makes
me want to hit the high seas with a rogue by my side, and until now cowboys were my passion(much to my husbands dismay). I don't
think he thinks pirates are much better. lol. Anyway, thank-you for such an amazing journey, I loved every minute of the ride! Oh, I also
read Indigo Moon, not knowing it was yours, loved it also. One request,, more pirates please!!
Catherine

Hi Catherine:
As of right now I won't be doing more pirates. <Sniff> Though, I did love that swashbuckling era and would love to go back there some
day. Currently, I'm working on a reversion of rights for my Drake series. I'd like to see those books back in print.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Laura,
I absolutely loved In My Heart!!! The story was wonderful, I kept trying to guess what would happen next & was surprised with who done
it. I read about half on the plane on the way to Raleigh & read the rest while waiting 4 hours in the Raleigh airport yesterday. The story
was fun to read - I could picture everything happening to the people. Chris & Alex were both really wonderful characters & I cried a little
at the end & also smiled that they had their happy ending. Can't wait for the next one. Hope you had a wonderful trip to England & it
gave you lots of ideas for more Donally adventures. Actually I was hoping for another Alex & Chris book in Egypt.
Have a great summer.
Marcia

Hi Marcia:
Christopher and Alex will be in Egypt, and readers will be in for a little surprise with them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"laura renken" books introduced me to you .. followed by Lori Morgan and now .. Melody Thomas ..enjoyed all your books ... question
for the above subject .. i know Brianna's book is next .. but what about Ryan .. at the end of the book, i got the impression that his heart
wasn't really in his upcoming marriage ... and that Rachel is interested in him ???? (oops, i hope i didn't miss it) I don't remember
reading about the wedding taking place ...
keep up the good work,
MariaLisa

Ryan and Rachel will have their book out in Sept 2005. Seems like a long time to wait, doesn't it? *g* I'm currently writing their book now.
What a lot of fun it is, too.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Melody:
I just wanted to say thanks for the email saying your new book was out. I got it and loved it! I read the whole thing the first day. The only
problem I have with your books is that they are so good I can't put them down. I mostly read at night after I put my daughter to bed, (its
my time just for me) but, your other books were so good I started this one just as soon as I got home with it. I love the way you write, you
have the best characters. I can't wait to find out what the rest of the Donally Clan are up to. If the second book is about Brianna can you
let me know who the next two are about? Will you be writing more on Ryan maybe David the priest or are some of those rambunctious
Donally children going to grow up to take center stage? See, I just love all you characters.(I still wonder what the Drakes are up to every
time a pass the bookshelf and see that trilogy of books.) Your writing inspires the imagination and your characters stay with you for a life
time. GREAT JOB !! please never stop writing. Trying to wait patiently till your next release.
Valerie

Hi Valerie:
I don't have plans yet for the Donally children. But I'm certainly not going to say it can't happen. One of the fun things about doing a
family series of books is that I get to know all the characters very well.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,
My name is Lacey and I just had to tell you how great I found Heart of the Condor to be. It completely grasped me from the very first
word. All the thrills and romance that was in it, I found myself crying through the whole book, happy parts and sad alike. Everything in it
is absolutely perfect, even the model on the front cover is exactly how I would have imagined Gabriel to look. I just had to say that it was
the best book I have ever read. Thank you for writing it.
- Lacey

Lacey:
I have to admit this is one of my favorite books, too. *g*

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Laura,
I am a big fan of yours and have all of your books. A while ago you sent out a newsletter saying you were going to be writing under
Melody Thomas and would have a book out in 2004. I am eagerly awaiting on any new book from you and was hoping you could ease
my mind and tell me when your next book will be out? I am currently re-reading Indigo Moon for the umpteenth time and absolutely love
your writing style and the heroes you create!!!!! I can not wait to read more!!!! Thank you very much.
Lorie

Thanks, Lorie! I can't believe I'm still getting letters on this book. This book was a Holt Medallion winner so has a soft place in my heart.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, A week or so, I wrote saying, I had just read My Lord Pirate, And loved it. Now I have read Night Shadow and Heart of the Condor. I'm
hooked. I love your writing style. I just got these books 3 days ago, and I have already read them both. Now I'm on my way back to the
store, to send for Wicked Lies , Indigo Moon, and Autumn Star. My husband dinner may never be on time again. I just can't set the
books down.I love to read, but most of the time I could care less about supporting characters in a book. I find myself wanting to know
what happened to every one of yours. They are all so good, totally 3 dimensional could read more about their lives, even after you have
paired them off. I just wanted to say you have done a Great job . I Love these books, and will keep them forever. I always give my books
to my best friend, when I've read them. this time I may just get her a set for her birthday. Are these the only books you have out till
2004? If so, you may find me begging for short stories. I would Love to hear more about Captain Roth!! Did he end up in a Spanish
prison? Will he get out? Keep writing! you have my attention!
Valerie

Unfortuneatly these books are all out of print, though thet can still be order through the amazon associates booksellers programs (Just
click to the webpage of the book you are searching to buy and click on used books) or at BN.com under used books. Captain Roth
would have been the next character in my Drake series. He was imprisoned in Port Royal during the huge earthquake there, (which
really occurred btw). Maybe in the future I still may write about him. Never say never in this business. *g*

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, Melody.
I wanted to enter the contest but also to say that I love your books and your writing. I was hooked after My Lord Pirate. I made two of my
coworkers read the whole series with the Drake siblings. I also truly enjoyed your westerns with Leisure. You are extremely skilled with
creating a new world with characters who are intensely human and passionate, designed to make the reader fall in love. I can't wait to
read In My Heart and all your subsequent books. Please keep up the good work!!!!
Danielle
P.S. I read the one your influences is Meagan McKinney. I love her work too and I can see that intensity in your stories that she has.

Danielle:
Meagan McKinney is one of my idol authors. She writes wonderful intensity of emotion. She is a favorite, along with Susan Elizabeth
Phillips, Linda Howard, Elizabeth Lowell, Heather Graham, and all the AVON authors. Of course, everyone is invited to the AVON
Romance Author website at: http://www.avonauthors.com/

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Melody:
Kudos for a great book...I finished it last night.
I loved how independent Alex was...it was like a light bulb went off in her head when she finally had enough and stood up to her father. I
wanted to stand on and cheer and do a happy dance on my coffee table.
But the chemistry between Alex and Christopher...I do hope that Brianna's story is going to be just as good. Christopher in my opinion
was a man's man. His love for Alex really never died and in a way I felt sorry for Rachel (even though Ryan is in love with her and won't
admit it). It was hard for Alex to show her true feeling for Christopher because she too was still in love with him after all these years.
And Richard, I was totally surprised with him and the maid, but proud. I figured out that the Professor was the thief but I never realized
he was really her uncle. You really had me there.
I laughed out loud at the eye doctor's office when Christopher and Alex were trying to have sex in the carriage. The receptionist asked
me what I was reading and I show her the book and told her that you are a local author. She told me the next time she was going to the
bookstore that she would look for your book. She's a Cassie Edward's fan.
So stand up and take several bows me standing up giving you a standing ovation for a book that's a keeper for me.
Sincerely,
Dani

Christopher is definitely one of my most favorite heroes!!
